What is required to start a design project?
New Home Plans

- Contour survey
- Your personal requirements for your design project - "The Brief".
Renovation Plans
- RP Plan - registered plan showing boundary dimensions and bearings usually obtained when purchasing a block of land. Also can be obtained from the Department of Lands.
- Site survey - may be required if definite boundaries are not visible on site. This is a good investment to guarantee that the new additions do not encroach on setbacks that the councils enforce.
- Existing plans - not everyone has a copy of plans for their homes. This is not a problem as onplan can make a site visit to "measure up" the existing dwelling.
- Your personal requirements for your design project - "The Brief".
What if the project is not on the Sunshine Coast?
As long as you can provide onplan with the necessary information (see what is required to start a design project) we can provide design plans for your project anywhere in Queensland and Australia via email. All necessary consultants can be kept up to date as the project progresses.
How much does it cost to get design plans drawn?
It depends on the scope of the work, and the size that it works out to be, so drop us a line with a brief description of what you intend to do and we will reply with a most suitable fee proposal for your project.
Whether your job is big, small or with budget constraints or not, our charge is a set fee per square metre.
